Pure Focus with DHAAre you suffering from "brain fog"? What about your memory? Have you noticed any problems recalling important names, dates, facts, or other information lately? If so, then Pure Focus claims to be the nootropic you're looking for. With the power of DHA, along with 39 other cognition-enhancing ingredients, Pure Focus may be able to help your brain function better. And all without the jittery feelings or sugar-crashes associated with drinking or taking caffeinated products. In order to test whether these claims were true or not, we put our product investigators on the case.

More About Pure Focus

Pure Focus with DHA is a nootropic supplement manufactured and sold by a company called HealthiNaturals. It appears as though the company is very new to the nutraceutical industry; the majority of their online presence only dates back as far as 2016. Their website is also relatively new. So new, in fact, that the "blog" section remains empty with a reminder to visitors to "check back soon for more info!". As of right now, despite the fact that the company has a website, you can only purchase the product from third-party retailers such as Amazon. Clicking the "Buy Now" button on the company's website redirects you to their Privacy Policy page.

Pure Focus Ingredients

The list of ingredients starts out promising, with a plethora of vitamins and minerals that make excellent brain food:

  • Vitamins: A, C, D, E, B1, B2, B3, and B6
  • Folate, folic acid, folacin
  • Biotin
  • Pantothenic acid
  • Calcium
  • Iron
  • Iodine
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc
  • Selenium
  • Copper
  • Manganese
  • Chromium
  • Molybdenum
  • Potassium

At this point, the list of ingredients splits off into the "proprietary blend" section. The vitamins and minerals above are all listed with the amounts of each ingredient included; the ingredients below, however, don't have any specific quantity listed other than the total weight (in milligrams) of their proprietary blend:

  • DMAE bitartrate
  • L-glutamine
  • Bacopin
  • L-pyroglutamic acid
  • Phosphatidylserine
  • DHA concentrate (15% DHA from fish oil)
  • Choline
  • Inositol
  • N-acetyl tyrosine
  • Bilberry fruit
  • Gamma aminobutyric acid (huperzia serrata extract)
  • Grape seed extract
  • Vinpocetine
  • Trace lyte electrolyte concentrate
  • Hupercine A
  • Boron
  • Vanadium

It should be noted that some of the ingredients above, such as "Hupercine A", have different spellings on the ingredients list of other nootropic products. We aren't sure if this is a typo, or a slightly different version of the ingredients in question.

What do Customers Think About Pure Focus?

Overall, Pure Focus has a lot of positive reviews on its Amazon marketplace web page. However, not everyone who bought the formula was willing to give it a 4-star or a 5-star review. For starters, even its satisfied customers admitted that the effect was "subtle". In their experience, it took anywhere from several days to a few weeks to feel the full effect.

There were some unhappy customers, though. And many of them complained about Pure Focus's side effects. The most common one was headache, followed by nausea (it actually made one unfortunate consumer lose their lunch). Other unhappy customers suggested that the reviews which claim the product works might just be a case of "placebo effect". One dissatisfied consumer who tried to get HealthiNaturals to honor their "no-risk, industry-leading money back guarantee" reported that the company refused to honor their promise.

The Final Verdict on Pure Focus

Pure Focus with DHA has a lot of ingredients. And we mean lots. Then again, we probably don't have to remind you; we're sure you saw the overwhelming list above. Some of their ingredients, such as the B-vitamins, Huperzine A, L-glutamine, and grape seed extract are great for your brain. They're also quite common in other nootropics in the market today - some of them for a more affordable price than what HealthiNaturals is currently offering.

Some of the other ingredients on the list, however, had our product review detectives scratching their heads. There were several ingredients, especially those listed in the "proprietary blend" section, that we couldn't figure out how exactly they related to enhanced brain function. Lastly, buyers should beware of any product which sources their DHA from fish oil. Fish oil is very perishable and it doesn't take long for it to go rancid. If you're thinking about purchasing a supply of Pure Focus, we suggest you contact the company first to find out how fresh the product is, and how they store their products in order to protect against spoilage.

Pure Focus promises to alleviate your memory problems and brain fog with the help of DHA and 39 other brain-boosting products. But how does it compare to similar nootropics? Find out by taking a look at our Product Reviews page.
